As we start to approach the end of the year, it’s time to start factoring seasonal shutdowns into your planning!
To help you stay ahead of the game, here are the important dates you need to add to your diaries.
- 13th Dec: All MiTek operations will be closed for the day to enable employees to participate in our annual Staff Appreciation celebration.
- 14th Dec – 9th Jan: Midrand manufacturing facility closure for the annual builders’ shutdown.
- 19th Dec – 3rd Jan: M20 and Builders’ Products warehouse shutdown. Note that there will be a skeleton staff only operating when the facilities first reopen.
- 21st Dec – 3rd Jan: Midrand offices shutdown.
Regional Agents – holiday closures as follows:
- Cape Town: 21st Dec – 3rd Jan
- East London: 15th Dec – 8th Jan
- George: 15th Dec – 3rd Jan
- Port Elizabeth: 21st Dec – 8th Jan
- Durban: 15th Dec – 9th Jan
ULTRA-SPAN
- 24th Nov: Last date for orders accepted by the Ultra-Span factory for cut-to-length projects. Please add extra time to your Ultra-Span order cut-off date for the preparation of designs, drawings, and material take-off. We will be able to supply stock lengths up to Tuesday, 19th Dec.
- 9th Dec Midrand: Ultra-Span re-opens for production. Skeleton staff will be able to assist with M20 and Builders’ Products dispatches and Ultra-Span stock lengths from 3rd – 8th Jan.
